FINAL NGRID WORK CONTINUES. DELIVERY MAY BE DELAYED SLIGHTLY DUE TO DELIVERY OF SEVERAL NACELLE COMPONENTS TO THE FACTORY - Week of November 17, 2008.

National Grid (NGRID) is working on the physical changes to the electrical transmission system to conform to the new Net Metering rules. The Town WTG Techncial Group met on November 24, to review all the items required on the path to project completeion. Representatives from the contractor (AAER, Canada) attended. The meeting included a walk of the project site to identify any items that had to be corrected prior to delivery and acceptance of the WTG by the Town. the AAER representative also noted that there is a potential delay in assembly of the WTG nacelle due to a delay in two of the major nacelle parts by their European manufacturers. This may delay actual testing and turnover of the WTG to the Town until the first week in February.
