COMPLETION OF ELECTRICAL CONDUIT AND BACKFILL - WEEK OF AUGUST 11, 2008
This week, Ryan Electric continued with electrical work and laid the electrical conduit
to the new riser pole. The electrical conduits were inspected by the town, encased in concrete
and backfill of the trenches started. The power will have to be turned off to the tennis courts
for about two weeks. The contractor will try to minimize the time the power is down. We will
install a sign at the courts to alert players so they can adjust their schedules accordingly.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Next week will commence the pouring of the concrete foundation
cap. The foundation cap will use 84 cubic yards (about 168 tons) of concrete.
